“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
On new years eve we decided to blow off the final cobwebs of 2017 and go for a walk. You wouldn’t believe that very morning this little girl cried because she said she didn’t like nature ! She lead our walk around the dam and even pointed out spots that would be good to take photo’s.
Daisy had a fantastic 2017 and has grown up a lot, learned lots of new things and had loads of adventures. I can’t wait to see what 2018 will bring for her.
Jake
A photo of Jake stood still is a very rare thing indeed nowadays. He’s a little live wire and a quirky little soul. This year will see him start school full-time and until then I intend to cherish our afternoons together.
Jake is such a loving little boy, his hugs are never half-hearted and his sense of humour is off the chart. I love him so very much.
I’m one lucky mummy to get to spend a whole new year with these amazing children.

Lovely photos. They both look so grown up. My little one starts school this year too. She can’t wait but I’m dreading it
Thanks Janet, it is bittersweet when they start full time a real mix of emotions x
Wow Jake is looking really grown up! Also, just spotted you’re in the Tots250. Well done! #LivingArrows
Thanks Katy, they don’t stay little for long x
Lovely photos. It’s crazy how quick they grow up!
I love how much character your two have – and it sounds like you had a lovely walk. So pleased to see you back for another year! x
Lovely photos, looks and sounds like you had a lovely walk. It’s so nice to get out and get a good dose of fresh air.
They’re both looking grown up here – the poor love getting upset though x #LivingArrows
