“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
Jake was really excited on Saturday to finally open the dinosaur excavation kit he got for Christmas. I love the look of determination on his face in this photo.
He’s had a fantastic week at nursery and has even starting telling me about what he’s learning in phonics. A postcard arrived on the weekend from his teacher to say how well he is listening and behaving in class. He was delighted to get something in the post with his name on.
Daisy
With school not starting until Wednesday last week, Daisy decided she would like to spend the day painting. Making, painting, creating and doing sums up Daisy’s personality perfectly.
She has a visit to the panto with school to look forward to this week and is very excited indeed.

That is so cute that Jake got a postcard. Daisy seems like a lovely creative girl. I hope my Daisy is the same as I’m not creative at all (But I do try!)
Thanks Katy, I’m not greatly creative but I love getting the paints and glue out with the kids x
Dinosaur excavation kit sounds exciting! Daisy looks like she’s really concentrating there. I love seeing kids get creative
They had lots of fun with it that’s for sure x
Your two are so crafty – and are always doing something different! You are winning at the crafty side of parenting 🙂 We have one of those dinosaur kits and I’m quite excited to get started on it! x
I hate craft with a passion but my girly adores it. There’s some serious concentration going on there x #LivingArrows
