“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
This week more than ever I’ve been grateful for my beautiful children. I have held them a little closer and paused a little longer when checking on them before I go to bed. With all the stresses and strains of parenting it’s easy to forget how very lucky we truly are.
Daisy
Here’s Daisy looking happy and a little dishevelled. Her whole class was invited a Birthday party at a local soft play centre. I was actually dreading spending 2 hours of my Saturday there, but it was fantastic. The centre was huge, light and airy. Daisy had a fantastic time running, jumping and climbing. She has 2 weeks off school now and I can’t wait to spend lots of time with her.
Jake
The same soft play centre had this awesome Wow Toys play area. Jake was in his absolute element. He loves anything to do with construction and vehicles. Jake also had a visit to nursery this week. He absolutely loved it and didn’t even look back when I left. I must admit I did feel somewhat redundant and the house was so quiet when I got home. He starts in June after the half term and he can’t wait.
2 weeks off school is pretty good going. She looks very pleased with herself
Hope you all have a wonderful half term together and that Jake settles well in to nursery #livingarrows
You can’t beat a soft play place – especially when they cater for younger ones so well too x
I feel the same and I cuddled my girl so much last week. Indoor soft play is one of my most hated things but kids love it don’t they? Hope you had a wonderful half term x #Living Arrows
Wow Angela, please excuse my lack of catch ups recently but I’ve been a bit lackse on replying to comments etc. Your kids are growing so quickly!
