Living Arrows 25/52 {2017}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Daisy

I mentioned a few weeks ago that Daisy had been referred for further tests after a routine sight test at school. I was quite shocked when it was found that she would need to wear glasses fill-time. We picked up her glasses on Thursday and she was initially quite excited. She has however had a few wobbles while she gets used to wearing them.

I’m so grateful for the routine tests they do at school. Without them we never would have known that there was anything wrong.

Jake

This cheeky chap started nursery this week. For the moment he is going every afternoon but will soon swap over to mornings. He seems to have settled in really well, I barely get a backward glance as I leave. I won’t lie, I’m relishing having some time to myself in the afternoons.

  1. Aww poor Daisy – she will soon get used to wearing them. When I started wearing them full-time (a couple of years ago) I felt a bit down but now I don’t get headaches and feel so much better! Hope she is ok xx

  2. I always worry about eyes or anything that could go wrong with children, because children just don’t know if their ailments are normal or not. #livingarrows

  3. I bet her needing glasses was a shock but I’m sure she’ll soon get used to it! I love having my mornings to myself when troy’s at nursery! x
