Living Arrows 30/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Jake

We had a few tough days last week leaving Jake at nursery. I mentioned last week that he had cried when I left him. Turns out it wasn’t a one-off and he did it again on Monday and Tuesday. Thankfully by Wednesday he was back to his usual happy self. He has quite happily run along to nursery and gone in without a care in the world.

There’s till one week of nursery and school before the summer holidays and I’m hoping it goes smoothly. Jake will be going in mornings this week to meet the kids he will be with in September.

Daisy

On Sunday we went to a local craft village for their countryside fair. I won a family ticket which included entry, lunch and ice-creams. Daisy was super excited to see fairground rides. We have a little adrenaline junkie on our hands. The faster and higher a ride goes the happier she becomes. I would have been terrified at her age of most of the rides.

I love that she has the confidence to try things that may be scary.
