“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
The sun has made a few brief appearances this week and the kids have made the most of it by playing in the garden. Daisy enjoyed blowing some bubbles, she has about 3 tubes of them on the go at the moment.
I think the novelty of being off school is slowly starting to wear off. It’s her friends she misses the most, we are hopefully going to meet up with them at the park next week so that should make her happy.
Jake
This is about the best photo I could get of Jake this week. He’s been non stop so I can tell he’s definitely feeling better and more like his usual self.
He really can be like a whirlwind sometimes, it takes most of my energy just to keep up with him.

Bubbles are so much fun! Happy to hear he is better #LivingArrows
Thank you x
Isla is obsessed with bubbles at the moment, it’s adorable! It was her first word that wasn’t Daddy or Mumma! #LivingArrows
Aww that’s so sweet x
They are looking like they’re having such fun in the garden – you cannot beat bubbles! Because we’ve been away I don’t think the novelty has worn off here yet – give it a week and things might change! x
It’s the final week of the summer holidays that’s usually the worse, fingers crossed the novelty lasts a bit longer for you x
Bubbles are always a winner aren’t they! Sounds like Jake is feeling better if he’s been a bit of a whirlwind this past week! x #LivingArrows
I always have bubbles on hand, they never fail to entertain !
I love that bubble shot – always so hard to photograph. I think the holiday novelty is also starting to wear off for my son now too! #livingarrows
I just keep clicking away till I get a shot I like x
