Living Arrows 39/52 {2017}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Daisy

This weeks photo involves homework again. I love that the homework that Daisy gets each week gives us the option to think outside the box when it comes to learning. This week she had a word challenge, she had to find a series of tricky words in her favourite book. There was also an option to practice writing the words in any way you would like. I set up a tray with flour inside and Daisy has great fun writing in it.

Jake

Jake and Daisy did some pebble art with their Auntie and big sister on Sunday. Here’s Jake showing them off, he’s had great fun playing with them this week. We just need to varnish them and then we can send them out into the world to make people smile.

  1. Aww I love the pebble ark, Jack looks rather pleased with them as well.

    What a great idea to make Daisy’s homework a bit more fun and interesting for her.

  2. Fab photos! The flour tray is a great idea for practising writing – Toby is a reluctant writer (even though I know he’s got plenty of time, he only started school this time) but I think a lot of it is because he doesn’t like holding the pencil. I’ll have to give this one a try. #LivingArrows
