“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
We have had a fairly quiet weekend choosing to stay home after a few busy weeks. Jake has had a tough week, he had his pre-school booster on Monday and was a little upset at nursery. He seems to be back to his usual self now thankfully.
I love watching him play, he has such a fantastic imagination. His current obsession is with robots but he will happily play with his other toys too. He loves vehicles and construction and is always asking how things work and where they come from.
Daisy
Daisy is an advertisers absolute dream thanks to YouTube. She talked me into buying here even more hair bows, insisting she needed them so she could look styled. I don’t really mind they are kind of cute.
Daisy came out of school with a shiny school council badge after her classmates elected her this week. I’m so proud of her confidence, she had to give a speech about why she should be elected, it obviously worked !

Wow, Daisy sounds like a wonderful confident girl – how lovely! Hope Jake is feeling ok now – boosters are hard aren’t they! #LivingArrows
Love the trucks! My 3yo keeps asking for bows but I don’t think she’s likely to keep them in for long :/ #LivingArrows
Well done Daisy on school council appointment. N’s school council vote was today. He refused to do it. Amusingly, the 2 naughtiest children put themselves forward. What a nightmare if they’d have been voted in.
Wow these guys are growing fast, bless her with her doll!
Both your children always seem to play so nicely – love Jake and his diggers! x
Kids and youtube! Oh my goodness is all I have to say – mine is obsessed with watching Kinder Egg opening and surprise openings. The voices drive me slightly mad 😉 #LivingArrows
