“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
Daisy and I had a busy weekend reviewing some fantastic toys. She especially loves it when something arrives that she can get messy or crafty with. It’s a good job she loves getting crafty as we have to make a junk model dinosaur for school next week.
We went to see Daisy’s teacher this week to see how she was getting on. She got an absolutely glowing report and the teacher said she struggled to think of any targets for her.
Jake
Jake has had a tough time going into nursery again this week. He has cried when I’ve left him, thankfully he soon calms down once I’m gone the teacher has informed me. I’m not sure if he’s coming down with something or he’s just having a wobble. He hasn’t seemed quite himself for a couple of weeks now.
His class are learning all about the forest this term and on Friday they made Gruffalo biscuits. Jake was very proud of his creation, he made one for Daisy as well.

That is great about Daisy doing so well at school. Sorry to hear that Jake is struggling, Daisy recently went through a phase like this again and it was so sad! #livingArrows
It’s awful isn’t it Katy. He’s fine once he’s in it’s just getting him in that’s the problem x
Hopefully it’s just a short phase for Jake. Well done to Daisy though. #livingarrows
Thanks Emma x
Well done Daisy for a fab report. That gruffalo biscuit is awesome! I hope he settles down again soon, my littlest is the same and its heartbreaking leaving when shes sad, but the teachers always say she’s fine after I have left.
It’s awful isn’t it, I end up sat at home unsettled until home time x
That’s so sweet that he made a biscuit for his sister! Hope he settles down soon though, it’s awful leaving them when they’re sad. x #LivingArrows
I hope so too, it’s heartbreaking leaving him like that x
Your children always come across as just so creative – they are always making, drawing, doing! x
