Living Arrows 49/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Daisy

On December 1st every year I like to surprise the kids with a special festive breakfast. I had to make a mad dash to the supermarket on Thursday night to grab a packet of Christmas tree crumpets as I wasn’t as prepared as I usually am this year.

I love the look on Daisy’s face here, it makes the effort worthwhile seeing how happy these little things make her. It’s less than a week until she turn’s six. She is having a party this year and has been counting down the days.

Jake

Jake is absolutely full of a cold at the moment the poor little love. His skin has also flared up as well thanks to him being under the weather. A trip to the doctors was also necessary after a viral rash appeared. I feel so bad sometimes that both Daisy and Jake suffer with eczema. It’s like a never-ending battle trying to combat the flare ups and work out their triggers.

We decided to spend as much time as we could at home this weekend to give him some time to rest. A weekend at home always includes a craft activity which Jake loves. He will sit for ages colouring and sticking things onto paper.

  1. I hope he feels better soon – it’s so hard sometimes isn’t it? Daisy’s face when eating that crumpet is just precious – I love seeing the magic of Christmas through their eyes x #LivingArrows

  2. I hope Jake is feeling better. Daisy looks so pleased with her festive breakfast and he looks so engrossed in his craft. Hope you have a good week.
