New Bathroom Woes

Just a quick post this week, we have been having a new bathroom fitted so we haven’t really done much this week as we have had to stay at home. It looks like it could drag on as we noticed the bath has been damaged so that will need replacing, not looking forward to having that out with them tomorrow.

Drawing

Daisy enjoyed drawing on some paper plates we found in the cupboard. She loves drawing and colouring and I introduced her to a colouring book for the first time this week. She liked it just hope she doesn’t start colouring her reading books in.

Flowers

I won these pretty flowers on Twitter, they are really summery and have brightened the kitchen up this week.

Bargains

Today we walked up to town, it’s a lovely walk of about three miles.

I wanted to look for some new shampoo as my hair has been very oily this summer but still dry on the ends. I spotted this new Herbal Essence Bee Strong was on Buy One Get One Free in Boots an absolute bargain. It smells amazing and I’m hoping it does the job. The brush is for Chris so he can stop stealing mine.

Wellies

We bought Daisy her first pair of welly bobs for Autumn, she will love splashing in puddles, they are so tiny and cute.

I also treated myself to some clothes from H&M they have some fantastic basics, I love that you can layer a lot of their clothes.

A trip to H&M wouldn’t be complete without buying Daisy some cute clothes, I can’t resist it’s my favourite shop for children’s clothes.

I’m hoping next week will be a little more exciting, I’m starting to plan our upcoming holiday to Cornwall and getting the house sorted out for Autumn, we are determined to save money on our energy bills this year so we have some ideas to try out.
