Money On The Side {18th-24th September 2017}

It’s time for week 6 of  my money on the side series where I share with you all the ways I have made money on the side and brought in little treats for my family. I don’t have an awful lot to share this week, I decided to take a few days off from everything. I’ve barely looked at survey sites and I’ve not really applied for any earning ops for the blog either. I really must get back in the game next week.

I have however been entering lots of competitions so I’m hoping for some nice wins next month.

Some important things to note before I begin.

All earnings from income streams including blogging, surveys, focus groups etc must be declared for tax purposes. I recommend using a spreadsheet to keep track it makes completing your tax return a lot easier.

In the UK prizes are not taxable.

For freebies I will try to include links where I can, lots are time-sensitive offers so may have expired by the time I post.

Earnings

£25 blog income.

£10 Amazon voucher from an ongoing survey.

I’ve also done the odd survey for points on websites like i-Say, Mint Vine and Q-Mee.

Wins

This useful prize arrived from Milton. I won it on Facebook in early August but had to chase it up, it arrived quickly soon after.

Blog Reviews

I’m organising a couple of Christmas gift guides for the blog and have had more lovely products arrive this week for it. I’m keeping them all under wraps for now so can’t show you.

I have a lot of reviews to catch up with over the next couple of weeks so haven’t accepted any offers this week.

Freebies

Just one tiny little freebie to share this week. This sample of cleanser from Philosophy Purity arrived from SoPost.

Bargains

I popped in home bargains for rubber gloves and came out with some pretty bargains. Their Halloween range is out and I just couldn’t resist this sweetie-smelling candle for 99 pence. The hanging sugar skull was only 99 pence too, it’s so pretty.

I spotted these rose gold baskets last week but they didn’t have a price on them. When I saw they were only £3.99 I snapped one up. Goodness knows what I’m going to put in it, I just love it.

If you have enjoyed this week’s post then make sure you check out last week’s Money On The Side post too.
