October At The Websters

October got off to a great start for us, we completed most of our to-do list the first few days, we were on a roll and then bam! we all got sick one after the other so the rest of the month didn’t go quite as planned.

Life with little ones is forever unpredictable and learning to adapt or change your goals and plans is essential, I think we did very well with our goals for October despite the setbacks.

  • We bought a chest freezer for a fantastic price and filled it up with bargain food
  • Chris had a much-needed 10 days holiday off work
  • We sorted the storage room and made it totally functional for our needs
  • We finished buying Christmas gifts
  • We had a courtesy car for a few days so took advantage and paid some visits to family
  • We all got sick
  • Daisy almost did a full term at school without illness (progress)
  • We got  lots of free food and food thanks to couponing
  • We baked, painted, read, built, crafted, glued and giggled through half-term
  • Jake got 4 big teeth all at once (poor little lamb)
  • We got some brilliant freebies and prizes in the post
  • We paid an extra £40 off our credit card debt
  • I discovered bullet journaling and the planner community (I’m in heaven)
  • Chris turned 36
  • I realised I couldn’t do it all and that’s okay
  • We indulged in some great film classics like Crocodile Dundee and Demolition Man

  1. Fantastic pictures there, sounds like a great month (minus the illness). Good job on the credit card debt too, so nice to overachieve on something like that! Take care and have a fantastic November!
