You might remember me mentioning last month that we are working with Drumond Park, reviewing some of their brilliant games. This time we are reviewing Gassy The Cow much to the kid’s delight. Ever since they saw it advertised on TV they have been dying to play. What is it with kids and their fascination and delight with poops and gas!

Gassy The Cow is the new and hilarious tabletop game from Drumond Park. The aim of the game is to avoid these flatulent cow splats and have the cleanest welly boots by the time the game ends. The loser is the person who is unlucky enough to get the golden-brown mega poo. The game is super simple to play and suitable for ages 4+.

The game comes with:

Gassy The Cow.

4 pairs of welly boots(red, blue, purple & green).

A spinner.

16 splats (6 yellow wees, 9 brown poos and 1 golden-brown mega poo).

An instruction sheet.

I found the game really quick and easy to set up. It requires 2 AAA, which are not included so be sure to stock up beforehand. Once the batteries are in it’s time to fill up Gassy with the splats.

Each player takes turns with the spinner to determine who will walk their welly boots up to Gassy’s bottom. It’s then time to lift Gassy’s tail to see if she will moo or poo. If a splat comes out of her bottom you must tread your welly boot on it. The splats clip onto the bottom of the welly boots.

Beware of the golden-brown splat as that signals the game is over. The winner is the player with the cleanest well boots at the end.

Daisy and Jake had so much fun playing this game. Tentatively they took it in turns to lift Gassy’s tail, when a splat flew out they both got the giggles. Sometimes Gassy will moo or just break wind, which as you can imagine is hilarious to a 5 and 3-year-old.

I love that this game is so easy for them to play. It requires very little assembly and is simple for little hands to navigate. The only part that required any input from an adult was filling Gassy back up with the splats.

Daisy won the first round, and she then challenged Jake to another game straight away. Jake was delighted to win the second game. I think this might be their favourite game of all time as they have been asking to play it every single day. I’m just happy it’s not scented, can you imagine?

The game retails at £24.99 and is available from all good toy retailers. For more information and stockists, visit www.drumondpark.com
