Is there any such thing as a home without a superhero fan in it? Superheroes are the epitome of childhood and something we never truly grow out of. We are a family of superhero fans and each has our own favourites. Daisy loves Batgirl and Supergirl, she wants to be a superhero when she grows up.

Hallmark has just released a new range of superhero girls and sent us a set to review. Daisy was of course delighted to receive her very own set of butt-kicking awesome superheroines. The new collection includes Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl and Harley Quinn. The collection celebrates the fact that girl heroes can be every bit as super, strong and amazing as the boy heroes out there.

Itty Bittys are an adorable bitty collection of some of the most iconic characters of all time. They are super soft, small in stature and super cute. They are the perfect collectables with new characters released regularly. Itty Bitty also make wonderful gifts for birthdays or Christmas.

Daisy and I talked about what superhero powers she would like. Being able to fly was top of her list along with being able to go to the park whenever she wanted. I think Daisy’s superpower is her fearlessness and strength. She is a thrill seeker who will climb the highest ladders to zoom down a slide. Fairground rides delight her, the faster the better.

On the swing her requests to go higher are shouted excitedly, she’s a real adrenaline junkie for sure. I like to think that Daisy will be her own superhero when she grows up. She could certainly go on to rule the world with her bossy ways. Whatever she grows up to be she will always be my superhero.

  1. Wonder Woman was always my favourite when I was growing up. I had my Wonder Woman outfit and thought I was her.

  2. Batman cause I use to always figure I had a chance of being him if I became rich, trained hard enough.
I decided I’d skip the dead parents and being a boy part 😉

  3. Batman – because he is the only hero I have know that is dressed in black ! thats normally the villians……. well of course other than the Milk Tray Man and ‘The Men in Black’ !— oh – and James Bond and Johnny English!

  4. They are all pretty cool and to have any super power would be awesome. My favourite would have to be Superman. Being nearly invincible with the ability to fly surely can’t be beaten.

  5. My favourite superhero is probably Robocop. I just love the idea, and the darkness of it. Plus, it is by far my favourite superhero film.

  6. Wonder woman as i have such fond memories of it from when i was younger and love the new film! But male superhero it would have to be spiderman!

  7. Superman because he reminds me of Stephen Gately (RIP) from Boyzone. He had a superman tattoo. Plus Superman is hot!

  8. My favourite Super Hero is Wonder Woman. I absolutely loved Wonder Woman when I was a girl, I used to pretend to be here, saving the world in an amazingly stylish outfit! Now, my daughter loves Wonder Woman. She thinks she is totally cool, kick-ass and an inspirational role model for all young girls!

  9. The Invisible Woman from Fantastic 4 because it would be amazing to disappear whenever you want and be able to create forcefields

  10. i love spiderman as he took a negaative thing and made it great! Id love to be able to shoot webs and swing through the streets!

  11. Okay, so I know she’s not a superhero per say. But I’m a Harley Quinn nut, got her tattooed on me and everything !

  12. Superman is my favourite especially Christopher Reeve’s interpretation, it was great to know he would always come to the rescue and save the person in distress.

  13. Captain Planet – I have fond memories of him from my childhood and I love the fact he uses the powers of the Earth to save the day

    I’m such a hippy haha
