Look In My Letterbox

This week has been nice and steady for post arriving, I’ve had some freebies, one prize and some purchases but I can’t show you those as they are a birthday present so top secret. I’ve been thinking lately about the good old days of comping where nice surprises would arrive every week, I do miss that but I just haven’t had the time I would like to dedicate to entering competitions lately.

This cute little Guerlain freebie arrived from SoPost, the perfume smells lovely.

I got these Johnson’s baby wipes from BzzAgent, I just have to try them and write a review, this is the brand we use for Jake so I already know I like them.

These sample sachets of Kerastase are another SoPost freebie I love trying hair care samples although with having long hair they don’t always go that far.

I cashed out these Argos vouchers from consumer pulse and I’ve already put them to good use buying some Christmas presents.

I think these activity packs from the rspb are brilliant it arrived just in time for the Summer holidays Daisy and I will have fun taking part.

It really was a case of being in the right place at the right time when I won these free meal vouchers from Amy’s kitchen on Twitter, you had to be one of the first five people to retweet and only one other person had, I love their macaroni cheese it’s delicious.

Have you had anything nice arrive in the post this week ? leave me a comment below I love hearing from you.

Look In My Letterbox

Considering we didn’t get any post for a couple of days I still have some nice things to show you. There are a few purchases I’ve had to leave out as they a birthday presents and I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Let’s have a look in my letterbox.

I’ve had notification of a few wins this week so I can’t wait to show you those when they arrive. I’ve had very little time to comp recently but investing time looking for low entry competitions seems to be paying off for me.

FreebiesIMG_9761[1]These seeds came from the Kew Gardens website. We plant wild flowers in Daisy’s special planter in the garden so this is a fantastic freebie for us.IMG_9763[1]I got this PurOrganica elixir for free in exchange for a review on Amazon. I have a few of their products and haven’t been disappointed yet.IMG_9762[1]I’m testing this new Comfort for the Mumsnet Insight Panel. Make sure you sign up as they have some great product tests and surveys on offer every month.IMG_9785[1]I went to my first ever blogging conference last Sunday (BlogOnMSI) and in one of the goody bags was a £10 voucher for LED Hut. I treated myself to these lovely Lumilife candles that were on sale.  They even threw in a free bag of sweeties what a treat.

PrizesIMG_9786[1]I won this fantastic prize from a blog competition. This means we can have two whole weekends visiting some of the beautiful National Trust properties we have locally to us. These type of prizes really make me smile as we can still have a great day out without breaking our budget.

Reviews IMG_9821[1]I’m reviewing the new ration box from Real Handful and they have sent me an extra box to give away to one of my lovely readers. Look out for that next week on the blog.

Happy MailIMG_9796[1]

This yummy looking card and letter arrived from my awesome penpal Cupcake Mumma. It came after I had a few miserable days and it cheered me up so much. There is something about receiving a hand written letter that you just don’t get with email or text.

So that’s all for this week. Have you had anything nice arrive in the post this week ?

Beauty On A Budget – e.l.f Make-Up Bargain Haul & Giveaway

I am so excited to be able to show you what a fabulous beauty bargain I got this week, I am also super excited to be able to give two of you lovely readers a prize.

I subscribe to the weekly newsletter from Money Saving Expert and I saw a fantastic offer for a bundle of e.l.f make-up for £25 which was worth £100, I really needed to update my make-up so I ordered it, they also offered free delivery if you spent over £30 so I added on a few bits from the sale, they had nail polishes for a £1 !

I was a little worried about the colours they might send , but I needn’t have because there was a fantastic range and lots of my favourite shades ideal for all occasions.

Here are some of the fantastic eye products, I have never used the mineral shadows before so I’m looking forward to testing those out.

I don’t tend to use a lot of lip products other than lip balms (which I have far too many of), but I really want to give these glosses a go.

I have put together two little packs of E.L.F goodies to giveaway, you can enter using the Rafflecopter widget below.

A little coupon shopping trip

This week I needed to take a trip to Tesco to use the coupons from my BzzAgent kits so I could complete some of the tasks so I decided to combine some other coupons that I had and make it a coupon day out.

Some of the coupons in the picture below I didn’t end up using, the J20 would have cost £1.14 with the coupon as they are on offer in Tesco for £2.14 at the moment but as I had walked there and my buggy doesn’t have a great deal of room to store shopping I decided to use it at a later date, I also couldn’t find the new Oasis drink I have a voucher for so I will keep looking.

As well as going to Tesco I called at the co-op on the way home to get the Clover and Pork Pie, I had £1 coupon and the Clover is on offer for £1.10 and the pork pies a £1 so my total bill came to 10p ! how awesome is that.

The total cost of my little haul was 70p, which is a fantastic saving and we won’t need to buy butter for ages.

The Clover and Pork Farms Facebook pages still have the coupon tabs on them, so why not take advantage of it, you know what’s better than pork pie ? Free pork pie.

There is also a competition on the pork pies too, so a possible prize from a freebie too.

Be Lucky & Happy Freebie Hunting x
