Daisy loves the Lalaloopsy dolls and she’s always excited when new ones are added to the range. She was recently sent the new Lalaloopsy Jewel’s Glitter Makeover and I honestly thought her tiny head was going to explode with excitement. She loves pretending to be a hairdresser when she’s not pretending to be a doctor and this set comes with everything needed to create a glittery hairstyle for your doll. She was also sent the most adorable Angels Advent Calendar full of sparkly accessories to style herself with too.
Lalaloopsy were once ordinary rag dolls who magically came to life when their last stitch was sewn. Each cute character has its own unique personality and is full of fun. You can watch them on their own animated show on Netflix.
Lalaloopsy Jewel’s Glitter Makeover comes with the adorable Jewel Sparkles doll. She has the most beautiful candy floss pink hair which you can glitter, colour streak and style with accessories. The doll is suitable for ages 4+ and is available from all good toy retailers with an rrp £34.99.
Inside the box you will find:
1 Jewel Sparkles Doll
1 Tiara
1 Spray Bottle
1 Glitter Bottle
1 Heart chalk (in purple)
1 Hair Chalk Streaker
2 hair clips
1 Glitter Blow Dryer
1 Hair Brush
Daisy couldn’t wait to get started making her new Lalaloopsy doll. First, she used the hair chalk streaker to create purple streaks on the doll’s pink curls. The hair chalk can also be used on human hair too, Daisy loved that she would be able to match with her doll.
Next, it was time to spray water from the little spray bottle onto the doll’s hair, this is to ensure the glitter will stick. She couldn’t wait to use the glitter blow dryer, I just needed to help her fill the little compartment with glitter. This part is messy but it does make the doll’s hair look amazing. I really like that the blow dryer doesn’t require any batteries.
Daisy then finished by adding one of the little pink bows to Jewel Sparkles fringe. She absolutely loved this set, hardly surprising when it involved two of her favourite things, glitter and hair styling.
After the fun of playing with her new Lalaloopsy doll, it was time to see what was behind door number one and two of her advent calendar. She found a pair of stick-on earrings and a gorgeous unicorn ring.
