Living Arrows 11/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Daisy

On Friday evenings the kids get to choose whether we play games or watch a movie together. Last week Daisy chose games and I just love this silly face I captured. Daisy loves playing games and we always have a good laugh.

Jake

Jake went to the zoo with nursery last Tuesday which meant that he was off on Thursday while the afternoon children went. It was lovely to spend the whole day with him. He quite happily sat for almost an hour playing with play-doh. Gone are the days when he required me to be his entertainment.

In just a couple of months he will be 4. He seems to grow more independent every day, he doesn’t want me to help dress him anymore. Jake’s also insistent that he’s not a little boy, he’s a bigger boy now he tells me.
