Living Arrows 12/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Jake

I was hoping we could get out on Sunday but the weather and Chris’s poorly back put paid to that. Instead we stayed home and did some crafts. Jake’s drawings are starting to become recognisable as the object he’s trying to draw. This week he’s drawn a balloon and a dolphin, he’s also trying really hard with his name. Jake’s quite happy to join in with a crafty session but he’d much rather be building I’m sure. He was also insistent it was Christmas with the return of the snow hence the pyjamas and reindeer cuddly.

Jake got his first ever (from nursery) party invitation last week. He’s over the moon and keeps telling everyone who will listen. His excitement will be at fever pitch by next weekend.

Daisy

Daisy needs no convincing to get the craft boxes out. Drawing, crafting, painting, creating it’s all her bag. She’s definitely a creative little soul.

On Saturday we watched the movie Mirror Mirror together, a twist on the Snow White fairy tale and she loved it. It’s so nice being able to share some of my favourite movies and books with her now she’s old enough.
