“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
We had planned to visit one of the local National Trust properties this weekend to put our pass to good use, but when we got up on Sunday nobody was in the mood to venture far. After running a few errands we went to the park, those blue skies were deceptive as the wind was biting. The kids had a good scoot around though as well as climbing and swinging, they have so much energy we can barely keep up with them.
Daisy
I took this shot of Daisy as she was climbing over some scramble nets, I love the look of concentration and apprehension on her face. She might not be the most confident of climbers but she always has a go.
I went on a trip to the farm with her class this week which I really enjoyed and on Friday Daisy got a headteacher’s award for her confidence in handling the animals at the farm.
If you enjoyed this weeks post you might also like Living Arrows 11/52.
It looks like the kids have been having some great outdoor fun!
Well done to Daisy being so confident with the animals x
It’s been lovely to be able to let them play in the garden and get outside more this month x
Kids are so quick on their feet, so full of energy. Such lovely photos Angela x
I just wish I could keep up with them and would love a fraction of their energy for myself x
Some days are just like that aren’t they were you just feel a bit meh about the plans you’ve made. We often just decide to stick closer to home now x
There’s no point forcing it sometimes, no one ends up having a good time x
We got caught out by the blue skies tricking us into thinking it was warmer than we thought this week too. It looks like Daisy and Jake managed to have fun at the park anyway 🙂 #LivingArrows
We will definitely be packing hats and gloves for a little while longer that’s for sure x
It’s been so nice that the kids have been able to play outside in this lovely weather isn’t it? #LivingArrows
It’s brilliant when they can play in the garden, they burn all their energy off which is a bonus x
