“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
DaisyI think this one of my favourite photo’s I’ve ever taken of Daisy. Her cheeky grin and her one open eye peeking to see if I think she’s asleep. She looks so grown up in it and it reminds me to cherish every last bit of her childhood. Every week brings her a little more independence. One day she will tower above me but for now we will cuddle and laugh about nonsense. We will learn and grow together.
Jake
Jake loves listening to his Daddy sing and play so we thought it was time to let him loose with the ukulele. One thing I definitely hope my children will do is love music and perhaps even learn to play the guitar themselves.
What a pair of cuties you have there! #LivingArrows
Awww these are such sweet picture! Happy New Year.xx #livingarrows
That ukulele looks like a full size guitar on him – so cute! And your daughter does look so grown up – she has gorgeous hair! It’s great to see you linking up this year and I can’t wait to see your photos each week x
It’s lovely to see so many new faces joining in Living Arrows this year. That is a fab picture of Daisy – her hair is so shiny! And Jake looks like he’s really concentrating on that ukulele – we were just talking the other day about letting Toby play with one of ours.
Oh they are stunning photos, she looks absolutely beautiful and full of joy. I hope he enjoys playing the ukelele x #livingarrows
