“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
I’m not sure whether Jake has a look of concentration on his face or if he’s licking his lips at the prospect of licking the bowl.
Jake had a hearing test on Wednesday and it showed that his hearing in his left ear isn’t quite as good as his right. He did have a slight cold and the audiologist could see some congestion behind both eardrums. He will have another test in 3 months to see if there’s any difference.
Daisy
We had pretty relaxed school holidays, staying home for most of the week. When we saw the sun shining on Saturday morning we decided to take advantage and get outside. We went to Sefton Park in Liverpool and had an absolutely lovely day. There were fields full of daffodils and Daisy couldn’t resist stopping to smell them.
Daisy and I got to spend some time alone when we went off in search of the Fairy Glen. Daddy and Jake went to the car as Jake’s little legs were worn out. It was so nice to spend some time just the two of us together, chatting and enjoying the sunshine.
