Living Arrows 20/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Daisy

Daisy had great fun at the weekend making her sandwiches for a campaign we are working for National Sandwich Week. She’s so independent nowadays, I almost feel redundant. It’s a pleasure to watch her grow up although a few less ‘little madam’ moments would be nice.

Daisy went to the local museum with school this week which she really enjoyed. Her class are learing all about fairy tales this term which is one of favourite topics. She loves school so much but is starting to enjoy the homework a little less than she did.

Jake

Jake turned four on Wednesday, honestly where do the years go ? He had a lovely birthday at home, enjoying his favourite pizza and the unicorn cake he wanted. I can never get a good photo of him opening his gifts, he’s always eager to rip of the wrapping paper.

In four months he will start primary school full-time. Until then I intend to enjoy the afternoons that we spend together, just the two of us.
