“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
Despite feeling under the weather last week Jake still wanted to play outside in the sunshine. To keep the kids cool I filled a huge tub with water for them to play with. Jake loves painting the paths with water and watching as the pictures disappear in the sun.
Daisy
Daisy’s big sister bought her a Wubble Bubble ball and she absolutely loves it. I’m not sure you’re supposed to sit on it but Daisy thought it made a great chair non the less.
We’ve had a few moments this week where Daisy has been sad about moving up to year 2 at school. She loves her teacher and doesn’t want a new one. Her school has a really good transition plan in place so I’m hoping this will ease her upset a little.

Ahh what lovely photos. It’s so good to be able to play outside thanks to the lovely weather we’re having! #LivingArrows
The kids are certainly making the most of the good weather x
Great photos. It’s lovely that playing outside made him feel a little better. #livingarrows
The sun definitely perked him up x
Athena always hates changing to a new year but the transition process usually really helps. We had a Wubble but it burst pretty much straight away! x
This one already has a slow puncture. Hope the transition helps Athena this year x
