“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
Just like last week this weeks living arrows photo’s are water themed. The kids have loved being able to play out so much with the fantastic weather we have been having. On Sunday morning we had the loveliest time at Victoria Park in Widnes. It’s one of Daisy and Jake’s favourite parks because they have a splash zone.
Up until recently Jake hated water, trying to wash his hair was a battle and a half. The last few months he can’t get enough of it, it’s so lovely to see him having so much fun. His confidence is growing daily at the moment.
Daisy
This girl unlike her brother has always loved the water, I swear she was a mermaid in a previous life. After an emotional week of transitioning into year 2 she was ready for some fun.
Both kids got brilliant reports, it’s great to hear that they are both doing so well. It’s hard to tell sometimes, especially with Jake who never tells me about anything he does in nursery. Now we have two weeks of school and then the summer holidays to look forward to.

You really can’t beat time down at a splash zone!
It must be so fun to visit a splash zone! I can’t wait until my Daisy is big enough to run around safely on her own!
Oh this splash park looks so much fun! We don’t have a decent place like this near us so I am always really envious when I see photos like this! x
That splash park looks like so much fun! We have something similar near us and the children are desperate to go again soon! x #LivingArrows
