Living Arrows 33/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Jake

We are just home after a whirlwind of a weekend in Jersey. Before going I worried about how the kids would cope with the journey and having to pack so much in to just a few days. Jake’s behaviour can sometimes be very challenging especially when he’s tired or out of routine. Both kids did absolutely amazing and I’m so proud of them.

While in Jersey we visited two fantastic adventure centres where Jake was in his element. He could run, climb, slide and jump to his heart’s content. It didn’t tire him out enough to sleep on the ferry home though !

Daisy

Daisy loved the beaches the most in Jersey. I swear she would have spent the entire break sat on the sand or paddling in the sea. Beach holidays are definitely her cup of tea.

I’m hoping we get a few more opportunities to visit the beaches local to us over the rest of the summer holidays. I’ve bought one of those sun tents so we can make a day of it.
