Living Arrows 37/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Jake

Jake’s first week at school has gone really well and he is loving it. He now gets to bring a reading book home which he is very excited about as you can tell. Jake has always loved listening to stories, he is especially good at looking at the pictures and figuring out what the story is about.

I’m so happy that he’s settled in to school really well, I had so many worries last week which all seem a little silly now.

Daisy

As well as the usual weekly homework, Daisy came home with a watch for the weekend too. She was so excited to be the first in her class to bring the watch home to learn to tell the time. There was also a special ‘ask me the time’ badge for her wear.

Daisy has never been a fan of homework so it can be a bit of a struggle to get her to do it. I need to think of ways to make it more fun so she will be a little less reluctant.

  1. Lovely photos, glad school went well. Our little one loves books and has recently started to want to read to us. She’ll look at the pictures and make up a story it’s so cute! Have a lovely week #livingarrows xx

  2. Lovely photos!

    We still have no homework. Thank goodness! I dont know if I am ready for it =P

    The watch badge sounds like a lovely idea. Telling time is one of my son’s weakness in school. I wish they should have done this before.

  3. That’s such great news that Jake has settled so well at school, and it’s not silly to have worried about it, I think we all do that! Love that photo of Daisy too, and what a great idea for her class to have a watch that they take turns in using! x #LivingArrows
