Living Arrows 4/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

It’s been all about super heroes this week for Jake. We picked up some fantastic super hero pictures for his newly painted walls last weekend. The new PJ Masks DVD also arrived for Jake to review which he was very excited about. Super heroes and villains have definitely captured his imagination.

Daisy’s request for the weekend was to do some baking so we opted for muffins which are the easiest things in the world to bake. It’s such a different experience now she can read the recipe by herself. She also used the scales by herself to weigh the ingredients out too.

Watching her independence grow is both wonderful and bitter-sweet.

    Definitely sounds like it would be bitter-sweet! So amazing to gain independence but also a little sad at not being needed so much now. They grow up so fast in the scheme of life don’t they! #LivingArrows

    It really is bittersweet isn’t it, when you suddenly realise one day what they’re capable of and how much they’re growing up! x #LivingArrows
