“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
This weekend didn’t exactly go to plan as Daisy was feeling a little under the weather. Instead of venturing out on Sunday we stayed home and got lots of jobs done, including homework. Daisy is feeling much better after a restful weekend and is ready for another week of learning and fun at school.
Jake
Jake has been dying for Daisy’s room to be finished so he could get a game out of the cupboard. He loves playing games. Splashy The Whale is his favourite although we all get a little soggy when we play.
He’s been having some trouble settling off at bedtime recently which is most unlike him. I’m trying to look on the positive side, all that running up and downstairs is good exercise for us !

Sorry to hear that Jake is having trouble sleeping at the moment. Daisy is too. Maybe it is the time of year for it? Fingers crossed it gets better soon!
Glad to hear Daisy is feeling better – there’s so much doing the round at the moment! #LivingArrows
Sometimes a restful weekend is what we all need, glad Daisy is feeling better. Jake looks chuffed with his game! xx
Sometimes you just need a rest and time at home don’t you? It sounds like you got a lot done and rested well for the week x
Glad that Daisy is feeling. That game sounds great fun.
Lovely photos of both of them. Hope they’re both feeling well this week and that Jake settles a bit more easily at bedtime. x #LivingArrows
I am sure its this time of year when there is not long until the holidays that they get sick and tired. Good to know she is feeling better. Hope bedtime is going better too x #livingarrows
Lovely pictures – I think we all need a quiet week every once in a while. I hope Daisy is feeling better now 🙂 #LivingArrows
