Living Arrows 9/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Daisy

Last week we visited Haigh woodland park in Wigan. There was so much for the kids to explore including a fantastic forest full of dens. Daisy was so proud of herself for adding to this huge den we found. She went searching for sticks and branches, carrying armfuls back like a proper little explorer.

Jake

Although you can’t see much of Jake’s face in this photo it’s my favourite shot of the week. He looks mesmerised by the water, some of was still frozen in places and he found it fascinating. I think this was the only time he was still that day, he spent the rest of it burning off tons of energy racing around the park and woodland.
