I’m a little late with this weeks look in my letterbox, last week was quite slow for exciting post with just a couple of freebies, one review item and a purchase. I’m hoping it means that this week will be a bumper week as I’ve been applying for lots of freebies and entering lots of competitions.
I applied for this coupon on the Alpro website, it’s still working so make sure you grab one before they all go.
I love this fun set from The Woodland Trust we are going to use it over the Summer, they are still available if you haven’t applied for one yet.
I like to buy the more expensive toiletries in bulk as I find them to be better value, FrugalMrW was in need of some new blades so I ordered this value pack from Amazon for £20.
This lovely box of fresh fruit and vegetables arrived on Saturday morning from Creamline Dairies, look out for a review coming soon.
I’m linking up with Alice Megan for Look In My Letterbox.
Have you had anything nice arrive in the post this week ? leave me a comment I love hearing from you.
It’s been a bumper week here for freebies & prizes, I’m found my courage again to use coupons(more about that later) and have taken full advantage of O2’s generosity with their Priority Moments.
I will start by telling about some coupons for free products which are around at the moment, some are still available & I will include a link.
Alpro Almond Milk have a coupon for a free carton of their original milk, this is still available but be quick.
Nouvelle had coupons for a free pack of loo roll, sadly they have run out now.
Shaken Udder Milkshake have a coupon for a 3 pack of their cartons of milkshake redeemable at Sainsburys.
A bottle of Just Milk’s new Lactose free milk, these have all gone.
I had a problem at Sainsbury’s with the coupons, they told me they don’t accept printed coupons, a quick call revealed they actually do so it was resolved but very embarrassing non the less.
Above are all the goodies from O2 Priority Moments, Chris & I are both have O2 as our mobile phone providers so we can doubly redeem the goodies.
In the picture above you will see a Chalk Mug, this has come from Love Cravendale they are currently giving away some more mugs with quotes on, enter by the 20th December 2013. Also on their Facebook page they have a daily giveaway, even if you don’t win a prize you get a love heart point which you can use to enter prize draws.
Above are my Chocolate goodies from last week Marks & Spencer Pass The Parcel game on Facebook, what’s better than Free Chocolate !
My other goodies included a Rimmel Mascara, a sample of Special K porridge, a prize from the Stella Magazine promotion which I think should have been full size, a California Raisin goodie bag, a Child’s cinema ticket to see Disney’s new film Frozen and some scent samples from Burberry Brit which is still available.

This week I needed to take a trip to Tesco to use the coupons from my BzzAgent kits so I could complete some of the tasks so I decided to combine some other coupons that I had and make it a coupon day out.
Some of the coupons in the picture below I didn’t end up using, the J20 would have cost £1.14 with the coupon as they are on offer in Tesco for £2.14 at the moment but as I had walked there and my buggy doesn’t have a great deal of room to store shopping I decided to use it at a later date, I also couldn’t find the new Oasis drink I have a voucher for so I will keep looking.
As well as going to Tesco I called at the co-op on the way home to get the Clover and Pork Pie, I had £1 coupon and the Clover is on offer for £1.10 and the pork pies a £1 so my total bill came to 10p ! how awesome is that.
The total cost of my little haul was 70p, which is a fantastic saving and we won’t need to buy butter for ages.
The Clover and Pork Farms Facebook pages still have the coupon tabs on them, so why not take advantage of it, you know what’s better than pork pie ? Free pork pie.
There is also a competition on the pork pies too, so a possible prize from a freebie too.
Be Lucky & Happy Freebie Hunting x
If you are anything like me and get a huge buzz from getting stuff for free, then you will probably love watching those daft shows on TLC, Extreme Couponing and Extreme Cheapskates. I love watching them for a little inspiration and although in the UK we can’t coupon to the extent they do is the US it’s still fun to try.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to have a couponing trip, I used to coupon a lot but had lost my confidence recently as some stores treat you like you are stealing from them which can be embarrassing and it used to make me angry.
I’ve decided to give it a go again and just put the goods back if they won’t take my coupons. My trip was a success and I paid a £1 for all the goodies below.
I keep all my coupons in a little folder and wait until the items are on offer to maximise the savings, my advice would be to plan your trips, make a note of what you are looking for and enjoy the spoils.
There are some great Facebook pages and blogs popping up about Extreme couponing in the UK, ExtremeCouponingUK and Almost Extreme Couponing UK are a couple I’ve spotted.
Between the time I spend comping, freebie hunting and making videos I can’t take it to the extreme but every little helps as they say.
Happy Couponing x
