Look In My Letterbox

I didn’t realise until Tuesday that I hadn’t shared last weeks look in my letterbox. I did get a few nice things in the post so instead of missing a week I’ve combined two weeks into one post.

Last weekend I rekindled my love of comping and I’ve been spending some of my spare time entering for prizes I would really like to win. I’m trying out some different methods and also going back to basics to help me get back into the swing of things again. I have been comping for almost 14 years and I don’t think I will ever give up.

This beautiful book is from the Mumsnet book club. I can’t read it without getting a little teary because the guy who wrote it lost his little boy and wrote the book in his memory.

I won these Aftamath drinks on Instagram, they are giving two cans away every day during August.

How pretty are the colours of these tea samples, they taste delicious too. I think this freebie from Taylors might be my favourite of this year so far.

I never get a huge amount of Tesco clubcard vouchers as we don’t shop their regularly but every little helps as they say.

This awesome neoprene lunchbag from Bibetta arrived for Jake. We have a few picnics planned for the Summer so it arrived at just the right time. Look out for a review coming soon.

This colourful Hartley’s lunch box arrived from Britmums. I will be featuring it soon in a blog post about back to school lunch ideas.

Daisy was very excited when this Minnie Mouse fashion doll arrived for her to review. We have one of the dolls to giveaway so make sure you check out the review and enter for your chance to win.

I’m always looking for things to help us fight some of the symptoms of hayfever so I’m more than happy to review this Serenz allergy relief, so far so good expect a review post soon.

Anybody who follows me on Instagram might have spotted that I regularly post pictures when I find a new fun edition of Carex handwash in the shop. It’s a firm favourite in our house in both the bathroom and the kitchen so I was delighted when Swizzels sent me their Love Hearts collaboration it smells delicious.

This photo does not do this adorable figure justice, I had some fun money to spend so I chose this Rock Candy vinyl collectable I love her colours and the pose she is stood in.

Look In My Letterbox

I took a little break from look in my letterbox last week, I only had one little freebie arrive and the rest of my post was just junk mail, I really do need to put more of an effort in to get that postie visiting more often.

Although I’m not winning much at the moment I had a prize arrive this week that made me so happy and I loved every single part of it.

I think I applied for this freebie through one of the freebie sites but I’m not sure which one, that’s really not helpful is it.

This Compeed pack is my latest campaign from Bzz Agent, I had nothing from them for ages but it seems to be picking up again now.

I won this awesome bundle of stationery goodies from a blog competition, it’s not often I win something that’s totally just for me so I’m delighted with this prize.

Happy Mail

I think of all the things that arrive in the post pen pal post is my favourite, getting a letter from someone is brilliant much better than a text or email, I have four pen pals at the moment and I’m on the waiting list for post circle.

I took part in a book swap last month, I was paired up with a lady in Texas and she sent me this book, I’m really happy with her choice for me as I’ve been meaning to read James Patterson for years and never gotten around to it and now I have no excuse not to.

Have you had anything nice in the post this week ? leave me a comment below I love to hear from you.

Look In My Letterbox

Considering we didn’t get any post for a couple of days I still have some nice things to show you. There are a few purchases I’ve had to leave out as they a birthday presents and I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Let’s have a look in my letterbox.

I’ve had notification of a few wins this week so I can’t wait to show you those when they arrive. I’ve had very little time to comp recently but investing time looking for low entry competitions seems to be paying off for me.

FreebiesIMG_9761[1]These seeds came from the Kew Gardens website. We plant wild flowers in Daisy’s special planter in the garden so this is a fantastic freebie for us.IMG_9763[1]I got this PurOrganica elixir for free in exchange for a review on Amazon. I have a few of their products and haven’t been disappointed yet.IMG_9762[1]I’m testing this new Comfort for the Mumsnet Insight Panel. Make sure you sign up as they have some great product tests and surveys on offer every month.IMG_9785[1]I went to my first ever blogging conference last Sunday (BlogOnMSI) and in one of the goody bags was a £10 voucher for LED Hut. I treated myself to these lovely Lumilife candles that were on sale.  They even threw in a free bag of sweeties what a treat.

PrizesIMG_9786[1]I won this fantastic prize from a blog competition. This means we can have two whole weekends visiting some of the beautiful National Trust properties we have locally to us. These type of prizes really make me smile as we can still have a great day out without breaking our budget.

Reviews IMG_9821[1]I’m reviewing the new ration box from Real Handful and they have sent me an extra box to give away to one of my lovely readers. Look out for that next week on the blog.

Happy MailIMG_9796[1]

This yummy looking card and letter arrived from my awesome penpal Cupcake Mumma. It came after I had a few miserable days and it cheered me up so much. There is something about receiving a hand written letter that you just don’t get with email or text.

So that’s all for this week. Have you had anything nice arrive in the post this week ?

Look In My Letterbox

I have a few nice freebies and one lovely swap to show you for this weeks look in my letterbox, this week has been stressful and busy so it always cheers me up when little treats arrive.

This Liz Earle freebie came from their Facebook page, I’ve tried the cleanse & polish before and it’s a fantastic product.

I love trying out these little luxury samples of moisturiser, this Lancome one came from SoPost.

This Microfibre travel towel was free from Amz reviews, I thought it would be good for day trips in the Summer.

I wasn’t sure this jewellery making kit offer had worked but it arrived just a few days later, the beads are really good quality.

These Nescafe sticky notes are from another SoPost offer on Twitter you could choose surprise gift 1 or 2, I think a lot of people got mugs.

Happy Mail

This beautiful bundle of loveliness came from a stationery swap I took part in, it’s so nice to receive such lovely little surprises in the post. I’m quite new to the world of pen pals and stationery swaps and I wish I had started sooner as it’s so much fun.

I’m linking up with Alice Megan for this weeks look in my letterbox, if you like my posts then make sure you pop across and check out the other bloggers taking part.

Look In My Letterbox

I’m always happy to be back each weekend to share a look in my letterbox with you, even if it has been a slow week, I’m seriously beginning to wonder if my postie has gone part time and they haven’t covered his round, for the last two weeks we’ve only gotten post a couple of times a week.

I’ve been very disciplined this week and not bought anything online, I also haven’t had any prizes arrive but I did get some winning emails so hopefully those wins will arrive next week,

This is my first Bzzz campaign in an absolute age, I kept forgetting to update the surveys on my profile so I think that’s why I was missing out.

I love these little samples from Vichy, their products smell beautiful and feel luxurious, the samples always come with a money off voucher as well.

Since I began reviewing products on Amazon I’ve had a few companies email me directly to review things for them, I only ever accept products that I would definitely use or buy myself, I will let you know what results I get with this and what fun I have trying to use it.

So that’s all for this week, I’m linking up as always with Alice Megan for ‘Look in my Letterbox’.

Have you had anything exciting arrive this week ? leave me a comment below I love hearing from you.

Look In My Letterbox

This weeks look in my letterbox is a little light. I haven’t entered as many competitions or sought out freebies these past few weeks. I’ve been so busy decluttering and doing lots of blog maintenance instead.

I’ve also been really disciplined and stuck to my spending ban so no online purchases to report apart from a subscription box that we get each month.

FreebiesIMG_9221I got this sample sized spray of Black Opium in the post on Monday. I had never tried any of the Opium perfumes before and was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful this one smells. I’m adding it to my perfume wish list.IMG_9198 IMG_9201I’ve had a couple of items arrive to review from Amz Reviews. Another phone case I think it’s safe to say I’m a collector now and these awesome chalk markers.  The markers have a reversible nib and are so nice to write with.

PurchasesIMG_9217 IMG_9219Degustabox is the only subscription box that we receive regularly. I think it’s the most affordable and is excellent value for money.

I love being surprised every month. It’s always jam packed with tasty food and drink, if you are a snack fanatic then this is definitely the subscription box for you.
