Play

This week has been quite busy. Daisy and I have been taking part in some Simpleplay activities and we started going to the local children’s centre again, We hadn’t been for ages and one of my new year’s resolutions was to get out more so it’s a good place to start.

Midwife

I had a midwife appointment and a scan in the afternoon on Wednesday.  We found out we are having a little boy.

Musical

We had a musical morning on Friday. I like to keep some of Daisy’s toys in separate boxes as I like to rotate toys. Doing this regularly means that she doesn’t get bored or overwhelmed.

Outside

I have really been making the effort to get out more this week so we have been on lots of little walks. I finally ventured to the school nursery where Daisy will be going next year for an admissions form. I think I have been putting it off because I secretly want her to stay here with me forever.

Baby Clothes

We went into our local town and I couldn’t resist going into my favourite store H&M. I picked up these little outfits for tiny Webster. The quality and the price of clothes in H&M is fantastic, it’s the first place I go now when buying clothes. I just noticed their make-up range had expanded too.

Cool Drinks 

On the frostiest morning, we have had so far I decided to use my free Costa points on a red berry ice cooler. I have been craving fruity drinks all week so this really hit the spot.

Library

We took a trip to the local library yesterday. I needed something new to read as I had finished Apple Tree Yard. I chose these two books, I have read Harlan Coben before so I know I enjoy the style of writing, the other book is not normally something I would choose but I thought I would give it a go.

Fudge

Chris made this delicious fudge yesterday, I’ve never been brave enough to attempt making it but he made it look easy.  It tasted delicious and we had to stop ourselves from eating it all.
