Five Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week {1.7.22}

Every Friday I share five frugal things that I’ve done to save or make money. I believe that a frugal lifestyle is an individual thing and there is no right or wrong way of going about it. From the smallest of savings to the greatest it all adds up and contributes to us living the life that we want for less.

Five Frugal Things

1 ) A few months ago the kids took part in an awareness day about Palm Oil and received a free family ticket to the zoo. We visited this weekend and took packed lunches and drinks with us to make it even cheaper. The kids loved the day out and I loved getting a freebie.

2) The kid’s school had a free uniform event this week, they get lots of outgrown donations throughout the year. I picked up a brand new summer dress for my daughter and a spare jumper for my son for free.

3) Some more prizes arrived this week including a pair of Bluetooth headphones, a book for my son and £100 cash from a text competition. The money I won is going straight into my Christmas Monzo saving pot.

4) I applied for lots more market research studies and am currently learning how to user test websites so I can apply for more paid opportunities.

5) We have decided to only have one streaming subscription at a time as late, we have found ourselves scrolling them aimlessly. Watching everything we want on one
