“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
With all the rain we had last week the kids haven’t been able to play out in the garden very much. So on Saturday morning we decided to get out for an hour before the usual weekend madness began. Daisy has been a little bit out of sorts lately, I’m not sure if it’s to do with the impending transition to year 1. She seems excited about it but maybe a little overwhelmed too. Some fresh morning air and a good run about was just what she needed.
Jake
One thing I know for sure about small boys is that they have a hunger for exploration and adventure. Jake loves to climb which means my heart if often in my mouth. As much as I want to protect him from falling I also want him to seek adventure and never stop exploring. I want him to climb mountains and find his own way.

Troy absolutely loves to climb and I know what you mean about the children being out of sorts – my two are the same. It looks like you had a lovely time out and about x
They are more than ready for the Summer holidays I think x
Oh the jump to year 1 is a big one, but hopefully the school transition them well. #livingarrows
