Wobbly Worm is an action-packed, twisty-turny fun game from Spin Master. The worm has fallen out of the apple tree and is feeling a bit dizzy. Players must get the colourful rings over his head while he spins and wobbles.

The first player to get all their hoops over the Wobbly Worm’s head is the winner. Designed with preschoolers in mind, the wobbly worm is height adjustable, at his tallest he reaches 3 feet. The difficulty of the game can be adjusted to better match the age of the players.

Daisy and Jake were very excited when Wobbly Worm arrived for us to review. They both love playing games, especially games with a physical element like this one.

The game requires two C batteries which are not included. I did find getting the batteries in tricky as the screws are quite deep in the base of the game.

Once the batteries were in the rest of the set-up was really simple. As Daisy and Jake are 4 and 6 we built the worm to his full height. The tubes slot easily into place, and the game is very easy to both construct and deconstruct.

The colourful hoops come in three different sizes making the game even more of a challenge. We took Wobbly Worm outside to play so there was plenty of room for him to spin and wobble.

Daisy went first, followed by Jake. They both loved the excitement of trying to put their hoops over the worm as it wiggled and wobbled around. The game can be played in two ways, first, each player takes a step back from the worm and must keep their feet still while they place the rings over the worm’s head. For more of a challenge, players can toss the hoops instead of placing them.

I think you can tell how pleased Jake was to get all the rings around Wobbly Worm.

The kids had great fun with the game and I think it will continue to be a hit with them over the summer.
