I didn’t manage to post my 27 weeks update last week due to a combination of busyness and illness, there wasn’t really much different to report last week anyway. This week sees me reach my third trimester of pregnancy, it’s not been an easy ride for me so far but the end is in sight.
How Far Along Am I ?
I am now 28 weeks pregnant, I am having a c-section so I will be delivered between 38-39 weeks so by my calculating that leaves me ten weeks to go.
My Baby’s Development
My baby is growing really fast now, he could be around 37cm and weigh as much as 2.5 pounds. My baby can also open his eyes now.
He is still very active, he tends to move around the lower part of my stomach and still prefers to be on the right hand side of my body it must be more comfortable there for him.
How Am I Sleeping ?
Terribly but that’s not all down to the pregnancy, Daisy has been really poorly and has been sleeping with me some of this week, having her little toes sticking in my armpits or face isn’t the most comfortable way to sleep. I am also suffering quite badly with heartburn which is hideous.
How’s My Health ?
I’ve not been very well this week at all, some of it’s down to the exhaustion caused by the diabetes, lack of sleep and looking after a poorly toddler, but I’ve also hurt my ankle and the extra weight I’m putting on my other leg is causing my sciatica to flare up. I feel really fed up at the moment.
I’ve not really had any lately.
How’s My Mood ?
Not good, I’m way too emotional at the moment and the slightest thing will set me off, I feel like wearing a sign saying approach with caution !
Other Bits & Bobs
I have a growth scan next week followed by an appointment with the consultant from hell, I am already dreading it.
I realised a few days ago how many things I still needed to buy for the baby, I’ve made a list and also bought some things so that’s a start.
I also had a 4D scan last week which I am going to blog about, it was a lovely experience and so nice seeing what our little boy looks like.
I thought I would leave you with a picture of my pharmacy.
