#SpooktacularCrafts For Halloween With Viking
In our box of spooky goodies, we found some things we could make scary masks with, the kids went freestyle on their designs using felts, metallic pens and glitter. They already have their Halloween costumes sorted for this year’s trick-or-treating adventure, the masks made a frightening addition to their outfits.
Next, we moved on to some spooky stencilling, Jake especially enjoyed this activity. Once he had finished his masterpiece we proudly displayed it on our Halloween wall in the living room. We always decorate our house for Halloween, usually right from the beginning of October, I love how festive everything looks and the kids love it too.
We have skeletons on the wall, creepy bunting, perfect pumpkins and some fierce skeleton pets dotted all over the house. One of our favourite things to do is to get creative with our pumpkin carving, the kids love to have a go too it’s a real family effort. Our first pumpkin is a fierce one this year with fangs and horns that glow in the dark. We always use carving kits as they are so much easier for the kids to handle.
