July has been such a busy month but lots of fun too. There was lots to pack in at school before the summer holidays, the kids have had a great time. We have also done some lovely things as a family too, from days out to just relaxing at home. My diary is filling up fast for August already which is exciting.
The weather has been amazing bar the odd day of rain and wind, we could just do with the temperature turning down a bit. I do feel like July has flown by which is probably down to how busy the month has been.
Here’s what we got up to in July.
- We marked Chris’s mum’s birthday with a barbecue and a toast in her memory.
- Jake took part in sports day at school.
- I went to a little end of year party in Jake’s class, we ate ice pops on the school field.
- The kids had a great time in the splash park, followed by ice-cream.
- We had a huge declutter and sort out.
- Daisy had her face painted at school.
- The kids both got haircuts.
- I read four out of the five books on my pile for July.
- The car passed its MOT !
- Daisy had her face painted at school.
- We made our bucket list for summer.
- The kids got brilliant reports from school.
- Jake and I went to dinner at school in preparation for September.
