“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
Daisy is a little bit under the weather at the moment, she’s full of a cold and her eczema is flaring up again. Despite this she’s still smiling and wanting to squeeze as much fun as she can out of every day. Over the weekend we were sent some new slime surprise toys to have a look at, Daisy is obsessed with slime so this made her very happy indeed.
Jake
This little, or should I say big boy turned 5 last week. Birthdays are the only time that cupcakes are served with breakfast, in fact Jake chose the whole menu for the day. I like to let the kids choose what breakfast and evening meal they would like on their birthdays. Sometimes it works out well and other times, let’s just say we have a very unusual culinary experience.

Happy belated birthday to Jake! Hope he had a great day, and I hope Daisy feels better soon. x
Thanks, Madeline he had a lovely day x
Ahh! My girl has been trying out those slime things as well. They are such fun. Daisy looks very pleased with them. I hope she’s feeling better now.
Cupcakes for breakfast. What a treat! I hope your boy had a wonderful birthday x
Thanks, he did have a good day. Any toy that includes slime is a hit with my kids x
Happy birthday Jake. I dread to imagine what we would eat if I let the children pick the menu for the day! Hope Daisy feels better soon, I am sure slime will help perk her up no end #mmbc
Kids do pick the oddest combinations of food that’s for sure!
Glad he had a good day. We let the children choose the evening meal. Luckily it tends to be a good choice. Hope Daisy is feeling better soon. #MMBC
It’s a real treat to pick your own meals on your birthday I think x
E is also struggling with her eczema at present. I think it’s a change in the weather or something. Hope your little lady gets better asap and until then PLENTY OF SLIME!
The change in weather affects both of my kids, one flare in summer and the other in winter x
I hope Daisy is feeling better and that Jake had a wonderful birthday. Five is a fantastic age! x
It’s the best age, if only we could keep them from growing up too fast x
