“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
The first week of half-term was all about relaxing at home, playing games and doing craft activities. Last year Daisy needed lots of help with the eZee beads but this time around she did it all herself. I feel like she’s growing in independence by the day and although lovely to watch it’s a timely reminder that childhood is fleeting.
This week we are off on holiday and Daisy couldn’t be more excited. We are so lucky to get two weeks school holiday this time of year as the weather is usually lovely.
Jake
I love this photo of Jake, he was being so gentle with the doll and it sums up his personality perfectly. Jake is a bundle of energy and is rough and tumble but when it comes to being kind and gentle he’s an expert. He drives me crackers with his energy but every day he tells me he loves me a million times and that I’m pretty. What more does a Mummy need.

craft and games are fun over the holiday. Love the way he is so gentle with this doll! #livingarrows
I don’t know what we would do without crafts in the school holidays !
Sounds like a lovely first week. I hope this one is going as well. We only had last week. #livingarrows
Thanks Claire, we always get two weeks this time of year x
Both your children always seem to enjoy a slower pace and quiet time. They seem like such gentle souls. Have a wonderful holiday! x
