“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
Daisy had such a good week at school last week. She enjoyed a trip to the local pantomime with her classmates, she saw Jack and the beanstalk and thought it was wonderful. On Wednesday she was really excited to tell us that she had been in the headteacher car to buy some new fish for the school tank. She really does enjoy school life which makes me really happy and proud.
Jake
I think this might be one of my favourite photo’s of Jake that I have taken so far. In the last few months I feel like he’s grown so much. He’s found his independence but still enjoys lots of cuddles. This year he will start going to school full-time which is a little bittersweet for me. Until then I plan to enjoy the afternoons we spend together just him and I.

It must be so lovely when they enjoy school. My son sadly finds it a total inconvenience. Enjoy your school free time with your son #livingarrows
Thanks Mary, that’s a shame it must be difficult x
You’ve got such lovely children and it is fantastic that Daisy is loving school so much.
Thanks Katy x
I think that’s one of the loveliest pictures of Jake too! It sounds like they are both doing so, so well x
Thanks Donna x
How lovely that your daughter enjoys school so much x

Its lovely to know they are enjoying school and thriving, I think its brilliant that the schools visit pantomimes and take the children out too, so often so much is put into the curriculum and not experiences! That’s a beautiful photo of Jake, especially with the sky behind him. Hope you have a lovely week x
