I’ve seen these Summer bucket list posts on lots of other lovely parenting blogs and although we don’t officially have a summer holidays as Daisy doesn’t go to school yet I thought it would be great to join in and give us motivation and inspiration to have some fun this Summer.
I also thought it would be a great way to incorporate the BritMums & BN Biscuits #Sweeet 42 Days of Summer challenge we are taking part in.
These are the things I’m hoping we will do over the next few weeks, I will check back in with a post in August to let you know how much of the bucket list we manage to achieve.
-
Have a picnic
- Make frozen chalk
- Visit 2 local villages we have never visited before
- Make homemade ice lollies
- have fun in the paddling pool
- Go to the beach
- Fly a kite
- Eat a 99 Ice Cream
- Pick berries
- Visit A Farm
Have you made a bucket list this summer, feel free to leave me a link in the comments, I would love to have a look.
Have fun whatever you are planning this Summer.

these are a nice idea, I just seem to wing it with my older ones
I saw the frozen chalk idea on another blog, cornflour & food colouring then freeze to make chalk, sounds simple enough so thought we would give it a try. I've just bought the ingredients to make frozen yogurt lollies & I think we will pick some blackberries as we have tons in our local area 🙂
Thanks, it's so much easier to think of things for little ones to do isn't it.
Frozen chalk!? You have a really lovely list of things to do over the ret of the summer. If we get rid of all the cheese in the freezer, we might be able to make home made ice lollies as well. Ooh, are you making them from all of the berries you are going to pick?
Nice list! We've done five of them so far so that's not a bad start. Good luck with your list mission 🙂
Thanks, wow five already, I think we are doing three possibly four this weekend 🙂
