Every Friday I share five frugal things that I’ve done to save or make money. I believe that a frugal lifestyle is an individual thing and there is no right or wrong way of going about it. From the smallest of savings to the greatest it all adds up and contributes to us living the life that we want for less.
Five Frugal Things
1 ) Payment arrived for two lots of market research I’ve been taking part in for over a month. They were both really interesting studies and I enjoyed doing them. I also completed a few user testing tasks too which paid in vouchers really quickly.
2) The activity box for the summer holidays is looking full but not because I’ve bought anything new. I took inventory of everything we already had and made an activity plan around that. There were even some unused presents from Christmas that we had totally forgotten about.
3) This skincare sample arrived in the mail, I love to try new skincare products, especially for free. I’ve also applied for some more freebies this week including a packet of cat treats and a perfume sample.
4) There was a heatwave in the UK this week with temperatures reaching record-breaking levels. I used lots of my own advice from my article on frugal ways to stay cool. Needless to say, all of the washing dried in record time too.
5) There has only been one prize in the last week but it’s a good one. I won a year’s supply of Divine chocolate bars, they are sending 52 so one for each week. As well as enjoying them ourselves they will make great gifts too.
I’m inspired by your winnings!
I’m on a real lucky streak at the moment!
