Money On The Side {11th-17th September 2017}

I can’t believe we are already on week 5 of  my money on the side series where I share with you all the ways I have made money on the side and brought in little treats for my family. Knowing that I’m going to be sharing every week keeps me accountable and motivated. I hope by sharing I’m also inspiring some of you to make your own money on the side too.

Some important things to note before I begin.

All earnings from income streams including blogging, surveys, focus groups etc must be declared for tax purposes. I recommend using a spreadsheet to keep track it makes completing your tax return a lot easier.

In the UK prizes are not taxable.

For freebies I will try to include links where I can, lots are time-sensitive offers so may have expired by the time I post.

Earnings

£8 Pinecone Research.

£3 Populus Live, This means I’ve reached the £50 cash-out limit. I expect a nice cheque in October.

£3.75 Prolific Academic (my page detector app hasn’t been working so I’ve probably missed out on a few).

I’ve also started doing surveys again on i-Say and have so far earned 550 points. I like that this survey site gives you points even if you are screened out.

There are also bits and pieces of cash or points from other survey sites which I will mention once I reach cash out.

Wins

Nothing new to report this week sadly. A few things arrived that I had won previously though so it’s all good.

Blog Reviews

I’m working on a campaign for World Dream Day so a Bush Baby World Sleepy Pod arrived for Daisy to review.

After having fun with Gel-a-Peel last week we agreed to work on another campaign with them. This Gel-a-Peel Fashion Maker Station arrived for us to review.

These fab Minion-themed Colgate toothbrushes* and toothpaste arrived for the kids to review. We also have a set to giveaway to one of our readers too.

Some Get more vitamin drinks arrived for the kids to try. I’m going to include them in a blog post about keeping children hydrated so look out for that soon.

Lots of lovely things have started arriving for inclusion in my Christmas gift guides but I’ve decided to keep those secret for now.

Bargains

I’m somewhat of a fan of Zoflora since discovering it earlier this year. I couldn’t resist these limited-edition festive scents. They were a bargain at only £1 each from Home Bargains.

I also picked up one of the Jo Malone dupe reed diffusers from Aldi. I already have the candles, the Pomegranate Noir is my absolute favourite scent. Such fantastic quality at £3.99.

If you have enjoyed this week’s post then make sure you check out last week’s Money On The Side post too.
