British Accents, Sandwiches & Blooms #LittleLoves

Little loves is a linky that I absolutely love taking part in, even more so now it’s monthly. This month has been a tough one so it’s nice to be able to look back and focus on the good things.

Here are my little loves for this month.

Read

My reading has been slow this month with just two and a half books read. I usually like to read at least four a month. My favourite read of the month was See How They Lie by Sue Wallman which I loved. Funnily enough, I almost didn’t buy this as I thought it wouldn’t be my cup of tea.

Watched

Give me a show that’s not only created by crime author Harlan Coben but stars Dexter (Michael C Hall) as well and I’m there. I absolutely loved watching Safe on Netflix this month. Mystery, suspense and Dexter with a British accent are absolute heaven!

I also really enjoyed The Woman In White on BBC 1, I watched it without knowing anything about the book and thought it was a ghost story at first.

Made

Daisy made some sandwiches to celebrate National Sandwich Week, she had great fun.

Wore

I don’t have anything exciting to report so let’s move on…

Heard

I heard the bees buzzing around these gorgeous blooms at Calderstone Park in Liverpool.

And lastly…

Next month we are off on holiday and I cannot wait. We are not venturing far from home but it’s far enough away from the daily grind to relax a little. The kids are so excited and I can’t wait to spend some quality family time together.

  1. Katie has that book so I may just borrow it from her. Love the sandwich that Daisy made, so cute. I bet you can’t wait for your holiday and to get away and chill out for the week x

  2. I really enjoyed both Safe and the Woman in White too, like you I thought the latter would be a ghost story at first! x
