Solar From Hotter Shoes {Review}

Disclosure: I received a pair of Hotter Shoes free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own. Please see our disclosure policy for more information.

Earlier this month I attended a blogging conference in Manchester and while I was there I spotted a Hotter Shoes stand showcasing some of their latest styles. I had heard so many good things about how comfortable and what good quality their shoes were so I spent some time admiring the different styles and talking to one of the Hotter ladies about the shoes. I spotted an entry form offering a chance to win a style of your choice to review so I quickly entered.

To my absolute delight, I got an email congratulating me on winning and I knew straight away which pair I would choose as I had spent some time looking at them at the conference. I chose a pair of Solar shoes as the memory foam footbed looked so comfortable and as I’m trying to be more active this year I thought they would be perfect.

The shoes arrived well packaged and in a bright lime green box, the tissue paper covering the shoes had a beautiful butterfly and flower design in light grey and lime to match the box, inside I found the Solar shoes I had ordered, I chose the Jet Black pair which has a purple sole and stitching which I think looks so stylish set against the light microfibre upper.

I couldn’t wait to get them on and see if they were as comfortable as they looked. I had to visit a new playgroup that’s about 4 miles from my house so I thought that would be the perfect opportunity to test them out.

I put the shoes on and adjusted the laces which was really easy to do, I felt a few inches taller immediately thanks to the extra 1 1/4 heel ( it all helps when you are 5’2″) I could feel straight away that the insoles were super comfortable as they had a lovely little bounce to them when I walked, my whole foot felt perfectly cushioned.

I was expecting to have the usual blisters that come with a new pair of shoes but after walking to and from the playgroup but my feet were in perfect condition. The Solar shoes are designed to keep your feet fresh which makes them ideal for exercise such as walking.

I was surprised at how light the shoes felt to wear and I’m sure that’s due to the customised memory foam (memorise by Hotter) and the deep PU sole that’s filled with millions of tiny air bubbles.

After wearing the Solar shoes for the past two weeks I’ve found them to be durable but flexible at the same time, I’ve paired them up with leggings, jogging pants and yoga pants for a casual look and I also think they would be ideal to travel in due to how light and comfortable they are.

I’m planning on buying a pair of sandals from Hotter next as I’m really impressed by the quality and comfort they are a brand definitely worth investing in.

You can see all the styles for yourself on the Hotter website or you could visit one of their stores to see the styles for yourself.
