The Christmas Forest Christmas Tree {Review}

Disclosure: This post is a review in collaboration with The Christmas Forest. We received a complimentary Christmas tree for the purpose of this review, please see our disclosure policy for more information.

This year we have a real Christmas tree in our living room thanks to The Christmas Forest. There’s something extra magical about having a real tree to decorate and the smell of fresh pine that fills the room brings back so many wonderful Christmas memories.

The Christmas Forest asked if we would like to review one of their 6ft Nordmann Fir Christmas trees, they sell top quality Christmas trees from their stores in London or nationwide online. For every tree they sell they plant another in the Sahel region of Africa with their charity partners Tree Aid too.

Our Christmas tree arrived by courier packaged nicely and securely, we couldn’t wait to open it up. I could smell the gorgeous scent of fresh pine through the packaging. The Christmas Forest only selects the best trees, harvesting them late in the season and storing them outside to ensure they stay in tip-top condition.

Once we opened out the tree we couldn’t believe how fresh and full it was, I’ve had real trees in the past from elsewhere that have been quite bare in places so I was really impressed. The tree came with a label attached that gave us advice about how to best display and care for the tree. The tree needs to be watered so a stand with a water reservoir is advised, I’ve been topping our tree up with water each day to keep it looking nice and fresh.

The Nordmann Fir is a non-drop variety which means you don’t have to worry about it losing lots of pine needles and looking bare. Our tree has been up a few days now and we’ve had very minimal pine needles on the floor, usually, it’s just where I’ve knocked the bottom branches whilst watering.

This year we invested in some new tree decorations as we wanted to go with a silver and navy blue theme for a change. I think the decorations we chose complemented the tree beautifully. We also opted to use ribbon organza on our tree as I think that always looks better on a real tree than tinsel.

Everyone in our house loves the tree, it’s created such a cosy focal point in our living room and really made everything feel festive. The smell when we come down in the morning is amazing, I haven’t even bothered lighting any of my usual festive-scented candles since the tree arrived.

We are really happy with our Christmas Tree, I’m impressed with the quality and the delivery service too. I like that there is also a Tree Care section on their website too.

Christmas trees from The Christmas Forest are available to order now with prices starting from £30.
