“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
This weekend we visited Drayton Manor Park and the kids absolutely loved it. Daisy loves fairground rides the faster the better but she couldn’t resist making a beeline for this giant xylophone. Music makes her so happy, we recently got an Amazon Echo Dot and every day she requests her favourite songs for it to play. Last week when I was listening to some Billy Joel music she commented that she really liked the songs, now that is good taste in music.
Jake
Jake has been a little out of sorts lately, he’s just not himself at all. I don’t know if it’s anything to do with having chicken pox last month followed by a virus and a cold or if this is something else he’s coming down with. I’m taking him to the doctors this week so hopefully we will have an answer soon and he can get back to his usual happy self.
He did enjoy Thomas Land at Drayton Manor though, he’s not as daring with the rides as his sister but he does like trains. Jake also loves dinosaurs so he was very excited when we found a dinosaur trail to follow, although he was slightly disappointed that there were no real live dinosaurs.
If you enjoyed this weeks post you might also like Living Arrows 17/52.

That giant xylophone looks amazing, my two would love it! Hope Jake feels better soon. x #LivingArrows
I hope J feels better soon, there seems to be so much going around at the moment. Lovely pics x
Oh dear yes sadly extinct along time ago and most likely a good job too. I imagine the cavemen would have feared them. #LivingArrows
Oh we love Drayton Manor, it’s one of the children’s most favourite days out! Your two look so happy there! x
