Living Arrows 19/52 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.

Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.

Jake

A mucky face, a pair of wellies and a digger, Jake was living his best life in the garden at the weekend. I’m so glad he’s been able to play in the garden lots after a bit of a tough week. I wrote briefly about the separation anxiety Jake’s been suffering from in last weeks post.  Things are not much better but he did go into nursery one day last week without tears so that was good.

It’s Jake’s birthday on Wednesday, he will be turning four. We are celebrating at home with a little pizza party followed by a trip to the big toy shop on Saturday. I know everyone says it, but the last four years have gone so fast.

Daisy

Daisy is definitely going to be a sun worshipper when she grows up. The weekend of wall to wall sunshine was her idea of heaven.We kept having to make her come inside for a break from the sunshine which she wasn’t too happy about.
